If your own ECA and IELTS are ready but your spouse's are still about a month out:
- You can create your Express Entry profile now using your own documents, without waiting for your spouse's ECA and IELTS.
- You just won't receive CRS points for your spouse's education and language ability until her documents are ready and added to the profile. Your CRS score will initially reflect only your own factors.
- Be aware of a timing risk members flagged: if you receive an ITA before your spouse's points are added, there's a concern the application could end up processed differently (e.g., treated more like a single-applicant case rather than the full family application you intended). This wasn't fully confirmed in the thread, so double-check current IRCC guidance on this scenario before relying on it.
Creating the profile early is fine — the main thing to manage is timing your spouse's document submission relative to when you might receive an ITA.
