If you're partway through ACCA and also hold a Master's degree, the group's guidance on which credential to lean on for CRS points:
- A completed ACCA qualification is generally treated by WES as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, not a Master's — so 12/14 completed papers alone won't get you Master's-level CRS points.
- Since you already have a Master's in Economics, get that credential assessed (ECA) instead. A completed Master's typically scores higher on CRS than a partial or even completed ACCA (Bachelor's-equivalent) credential, so there's no need to finish the remaining ACCA papers purely for CRS purposes.
- A specific combination — an Oxford Brookes BSc plus an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business (commonly paired with ACCA) — was mentioned as another route some candidates use, but it's a different credential path from the ACCA-alone route and not something to assume you automatically qualify for.
Bottom line: for CRS purposes, your existing Master's degree evaluation is likely the stronger and simpler path compared to finishing ACCA.
