It's common for World Education Services (WES) or other Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) bodies to show your documents as 'not yet received' even after the courier confirms delivery.
Why this happens:- Courier delivery just means the package reached the organization's mailroom or a general document collection center, not the specific processing team.
- ECA bodies typically only log/acknowledge receipt in their online portal after their internal team physically sorts and matches the documents to your file — this can take about 7 working days after courier delivery.
What to do:- Don't panic if the portal still says 'waiting' within the first week after delivery — this is normal processing lag, not a lost package.
- Give it the full 7 working days before assuming anything is wrong.
- If it's been longer than that with no update, follow up with WES support and reference your courier tracking number and delivery date as proof.
Tip from the group: several members felt FedEx was more reliable/faster than TCS for this kind of document courier, if you have a choice for future submissions.
