An applicant with an OINP nomination (600 CRS points already applied) asked whether the nomination certificate must be uploaded with the Express Entry PR application.
- Where it goes. If you're still assembling the application, attach the nomination certificate in the Client Information section of the e-APR.
- It's recommended, not mandatory. The nomination itself is already linked electronically (that's where the 600 points come from), so members advised that the letter is not a required upload. If you've already submitted without it, there is no need to panic.
- If you want to add it after submission, use a webform. The clean procedure described: raise an IRCC webform quoting your UCI and application number, attach the nomination document, and request that it be added to your file — the officer handling the webform will attach it. One applicant in the thread had already done exactly this and was told it would work.
- Check the companion documents. A member prompted the applicant to also confirm they'd uploaded their 'Intent to Live in Ontario' statement in the PR application — a companion document OINP nominees commonly include.
The takeaway: missing the nomination letter is a recoverable, low-stakes omission — the webform route patches it without disturbing the application.
