Members going through a Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) nomination sometimes need to switch employers while staying in the same NOC (occupation code). Based on what the group shared:
- Email Immigrate Manitoba directly. Send your new job offer or job letter, along with your existing provincial file/nomination number, to the Immigrate Manitoba email address.
- Expect slow turnaround. Wait times for a response were reported as long, so don't expect same-week confirmation.
- MPNP updates the Assessment/Acceptance of Interest (AOI) document. Once processed, the officer changes the employer name on your AOI to reflect the new job — you don't need to restart your nomination from scratch.
- If you don't hear back, follow up by phone. One member suggested calling MPNP repeatedly until you reach an officer, and said an immigration consultant can also help push things along if you're stuck.
This is Manitoba-specific process guidance, not a federal IRCC step — always confirm current procedure on the Immigrate Manitoba website since provincial processes can change.
