If your Express Entry profile is prompting you to confirm a PNP nomination that has already expired, but doesn't clearly explain how, group members laid out the process to resolve it.
What group members advised:- Make sure you have an active Express Entry profile — if your original profile expired along with the nomination, you'll need to create a new one.
- Contact the province that issued your original nomination directly. Ask them to extend or revise your nomination certificate.
- Request that the province link the (renewed) nomination to your new/active Express Entry profile. Provinces generally won't do this automatically — you need to proactively request it.
- Once the province confirms the link, you should then be able to accept the nomination within your Express Entry profile and proceed with the application.
Process and required documentation can vary by province, so confirm the exact steps with the specific PNP office that issued your original nomination.
