Edward Robinson At airport immigration, they asked for Letter of Introduction from IRCC, not Letter of Acceptance from college. So possibly, you will get as per LoI from IRCC. You may request them, otherwise you can apply for the extension, college will help you.

You can apply extension 1 month prior to the expiry of study permit. I think they will issue you 2yr permit at the port of entry based on the LOA.
