You need a transit visa if it's more than 12 hours layover. Please check the airlines website for details or the country's visa rules on their website

Anagha Bhojane I think with Canadian visa you ate allowed one day transit in Frankfurt not sure though

But my advise is, you should not go for this long layover. If you can, go for direct flight only
