1-3 months and you are already stressing. Just imagine the time during covid, it was 6-8 months+, this should give you a relief. Security is one of the checks IRCC does, it starts, goes in progress and them goes to completed.

Mudassir Hussain thanks for the hope. Everyone I have talked to says that if security goes in progress, it means they are doing comprehensive screening which could take even a year or more. That’s what’s stressing me out ☹️

Sara D'Souza it goes In progress for every application. They do a screening for every application, unless you have something to hide, you shouldn't care at all, let them do what they need to do.
