I'm in Canada on Study permit, planning to apply SOWP for wife and dependent Visa for child. My daughter is 9 year old, so it would be dependent Visa only or I have to apply student visa for my child ? Please guide...

You do not need a student visa for your kid if one of the parents has a work permit. The public schools do not require study permits for children under 16 whose parents have work permit.
