Webform raised: got this reply "currently conducting certain background investigations..." After medical update its been 4 months, and still no update. What could be the reason? Why it is taking so long time? How can I check the progress of my application?

There could be any number of reasons for delay in the application. Unfortunately you can not do much but to wait for them to finish the process
