Need your help - my brother is already here in Canada with study permit. He wants to switch school and program for some personal reasons. Will he need to apply for a new study permit and have IRCC process the application for school/program transfer? TIA!

Nasrin Sultana yes. You’ll have to inform IRCC after you have changed your institution and to complete your course later you can apply study permit extension.

You can change schools you just need to inform IRCC, you don’t need a new study permit after you have landed
